All Foundation funds are held in the custody of Austin Trust Company (www.austintrust.com), the first private trust company in Texas, chartered by the Texas Department of Banking in 1987, under the Banking Code of Texas. Austin Trust Company (www.austintrust.com) is periodically examined by the Texas Department of Banking and is independently audited by PMB Helin Donovan, certified public accountants. The AHS/CEF Board of Directors review the Foundation's financial condition at each meeting of the board following accepted best practices.
