Brooks Goldsmith, President, Class of 1951
Brooks graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. After serving as a Captain in the U.S. Army Dental Corps in Fort Carson, Colorado, Brooks returned to Austin in 1961 to establish a private practice in General Dentistry. He and wife Anne, have two grown children, Eric and Blake.

Morgan Stone, Vice President, Class of 1988
Morgan has been a Board Member since 1998 and is President of Stone Asset Management, Inc., an investment advisor firm located in Austin.  Morgan is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas and is active in the Austin chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. 

Marty Douglas Rosenfield, Treasurer and Secretary, Class of 1962
Marty attended both The University of Houston and The University of Texas at Austin.  She has been in the financial services industry since 1968 and is currently Assistant Vice President/Trust Officer of Austin Trust Company. 

Marsha Jensen, Class of 1956
Marsha graduated from the University of Texas and was a teacher for 20 years in Austin, Bangkok, and Okinawa. She then worked for the State of Texas Department of Information Resources.  In 1991, Jerry Adams and Marsha discovered the need for the scholarships and founded AHSCEF.  She is a past president of AHSCEF and has served with other charitable organizations.

Alden B. Smith, Class of 1955
Alden has kept Austin High all in the family. His wife, Barbara Leonard, AHS Class of '56, and their three sons all graduated from Austin High:  Leonard, a lawyer, Class of '80; Mark, a real estate appraiser, Class of '83; and Lamar, a high school history teacher and tennis coach, Class of '87.  After earning a B.B.A. from the University of Texas, Alden spent 17 years as a stockbroker, but now concentrates on owning and managing commercial real estate, directing stock market investments, and overseeing assets in the oil and gas industry and in various partnerships.

Bob Dowd, Class of 1957
Bob has been on the Board of Directors for 4 years.  He has found it very rewarding to be able to award scholarships to deserving students so they have the opportunity to further their education after graduating from Austin High.

Sam Kimberlin, Class of 1945
Sam received a BBA. and LLB from The University of Texas at Austin. He served as First Assistant District Attorney of Travis County, Assistant Attorney General of Texas, Counsel for the Texas Department of Banking, and for 28 years as the managing officer of the Texas Bankers Association prior to his retirement from that position. Currently he is consultant to Austin Trust Company and a director of Thornhill Securities, Inc., and he serves as an appointee of the Dean on the U. T. Third Age University Council, which is composed of representatives of SAGE, LAMP, QUEST and FORUM.

Jerry Adams, Class of 1956
Jerry is a retired FBI Special Agent, and is a co-founder and past President of AHSCEF.
While working in the Texas Governor’s Office, he helped write and implement the Texas Homeland Security Program. He is the owner of Gerald Adams & Associates, Inc., a private investigation/security corporation. He is past President of the Ronald Mc Donald House and the Society for Former Special Agents of the FBI. His wife, Gay Stolley, is a 1957 AHS graduate.  Jerry is the recipient of the 2005 PEACE AWARD from the International Institute for Interfaith Dialog, Inc.

David C. Parker, Class of 1952
David graduated from the University of Texas in 1952 and was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.  He is actively engaged in Real Estate Management and has 3 children.

Bo Byers, Class of 1936
Bo is one of the founders of the Austin High School Continuing Education Foundation. He retired from journalism in 1973, having reported for 42 years for various publications including the Tyler Morning Telegraph, the Associated Press, the Houston Chronicle and Texas Monthly.  Bo served as a B-17 navigator in the Army Air Corps in World War II, flying 30 missions in 90 days, his first mission beginning the day after D-Day. 

Delano Womack, Class of 1952
Delano married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Ann Olle in 1954. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1956 with a B.B.A. in Marketing and Real Estate. Delano is still active in the real estate industry in Austin and the surrounding area and has been on the Board since 1996.

Alice Marshall Davis, Class of 1960
Alice is married to John M. Davis, class of 1959. She received a B.S. in Education and an M.A. in Geographic Education from the University of Texas.  She retired in 2005 after 34 1/2 years in the classroom.  Of those years, 26 were spent teaching geography, Asian Studies, sociology and English at Austin High.  She was also the Social Studies Department Chair and sponsored the Hall of Honor Steering Committee for five years.  Alice is a member of the Assistance League of Austin, Austin Retired Teacher's Association and Zeta Eta chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma society.

Ann Lavercombe Doctorman, Class of 1956
Ann attended The University of Texas at Austin.  For a number of years she worked in state government – as personal corresponding secretary to Attorney General Crawford Martin and initially as administrative assistant to State Representative (and later Speaker of the House) Pete Laney.  For the past 27 years, Ann has served in the private sector as Executive Assistant to the President and Vice-Presidents of Texas Oil & Gas Association, a trade association for the Texas oil and gas industry.  Ann is married to Bill Doctorman, a commercial Realtor in Austin for over 40 years.

August (“Happy”) W. Harris III, Class of 1982
August or “Happy” has deep Austin High family roots and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. After many years in the banking industry, in 2002, he took a new path and founded Covenant Financial Solutions, LLC, a merchant service provider and banking consulting practice. He also is a state certified mediator. Happy is President Elect of the West Austin Neighborhood Group, Treasurer for the Texas School for the Deaf Foundation, a very active member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, currently chairing the Small Business Public Policy Roundtable and serving on the Transportation Committee, the Heritage Society of Austin; as well as numerous other charitable projects. He is also a member of Leadership Austin’s Class of 2008.

Stacy Looney, Class of 1983
Stacy graduated from St. Edwards University and spends much of her time volunteering for organizations that raise money for scholarship funds. Until recently, Stacy worked in the Texas political arena. She has since started her own business in insurance.
